The Tribes of Neo Terra know very little about the times before "The Rebirth." The wise Councilors know that their tribes are not the first to settle the lands. Ancient technological relics and records show that the world was once very different. Pre-terra was a world of steel, glass, and war. Although their legends vary, the tribes agree that this once grand civilization, which spread across the lands, was decimated by a cataclysmic event.
Some believe that they were punished by the Gods, some say that it was a series of natural disasters, and others say that it was a world war which gave rise to the ruins that now exist. Whatever the cause, The Rebirth created the Neo Terra that exists today.
